A Pair Of Meiji Period Satsuma Vases Painted With Peacocks, Wisteria And Flowers

A pair of beautifully hand painted and signed Japanese Satsuma vases. Depicting Peacocks, Wisteria and other flowers. Each approximately 25cm tall, 8cm in diameter at the base and 12.5cm in diameter at their widest. Overall in very good condition with no damage.

The gilding to the necks is worn and there is some very slight wear to the top of one next to the neck as can be seen in the photos but there is no wear to anywhere else on the vases leaving the main scenes to stand out in all their glory. Please see my page for more interesting items.
