Antique Japanese Cinnabar Lacquer & Satsuma Table Cabinet on Stand. This is an excellent 19th century Japanese cinnabar lacquer table cabinet & stand, circa 1880. Mounted with 8 satsuma plaques.

6 internal drawers & a long drawer at the base. CONDITION the cabinet is in good order overall, there is some shrinkage of the lacquer panels noticeable at the rear & top with some loss of lacquer on the top edge. The base has a missing metal corner mount & half a section of another, old repairs to 2 legs. The overall condition is as you would expect from an object of substantial age that has been displayed/handled/used, usually over the lifetimes of several owners.
