Antique Japanese Kyo-Satsuma-yaki 12 Two Handled Gold Gilted Vase
This is a beautiful antique Japanese Kyo-Satsuma-yaki vase, measuring 12 inches, with two gathered ribbon handles with copper and gold gilting. It appears signed, but not sure if its by the maker. Was produced in Japan during the late 19th century, between 1850 and 1899. The vase is made of porcelain and features a stunning multi-color design that is typical of Kyo-Satsuma-yaki pieces. The vase is an original antique and is a great addition to any collection of Japanese antiques. It has been well-preserved over the years and is in good condition. This item is categorized under Antiques, Asian Antiques, Japan, and Vases. Bottom of the vase does have a small white spot, but it is not a chip due to it having glaze over top of it and being smooth to the touch. Gilt is worn in some areas due to age, and also has some crazing due to age.
Also has pits, due to handcrafting, but is still an amazing piece. Took many pictures at different angles to show condition, please refer to for more details. Weighs 2lbs, 9.7 oz.
