Antique Japanese Satsuma Jardiniere by Gyokushu Hand Painted Meiji Period w31cm

Here we have a beautiful antique Japanese Satsuma crackle glazed twin handled jardiniere planter / vase featuring a scalloped edge to the top and bottom rims finely hand painted / decorated with birds sitting on branches, large floral accents and fine 3D dots adding a great texture to the piece and an extra pop of colour. With small gold gilt handles to each side. Signed to the base by Gyokushu with the Shimazu clan crest. Lovely condition overall, no damage just your typical paint / gold gilt wear and general ageing as to be expected.
