THIS LISTING IS FOR A BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE MEIJI PERIOD JAPANESE SATSUMA PORCELAIN ENAMEL ON GILT DECORATED BOWL IN THE "1000 FLOWERS" DESIGN , SIGNED, c. THE PATTERN IS CALLED "1000 FLOWERS" DUE TO THE ASSORTED FLOWERS THAT DECORATE THE ENTIRE SURFACE OF THE BOWL.

THE WHITE FLOWERS HAVE "JEWELED" PETALS. THE TOP EDGE OF THE BOWL IS SLIGHTLY SCALLOPED WITH "PINCHED" AREAS AT THE END OF EACH SCALLOP AND A GILDED RIM. MEASURES 1 3/4" HIGH WITH A TOP DIAMETER OF 4 7/8" AND A BASE DIAMETER OF 2 5/8.
