Superb late 19thC or early 20thC Japanese Satsuma pottery tea set decorated with the ever popular Thousand Faces or Immortal pattern depicting a dragon and the Japanese immortals. This set consists of a tea pot, hot water pot or milk jug and lidded sucrier. Each piece is hand painted and signed to the base.
Tea pot measures 22cm(8.7") x 19cm(7.5") x 13cm(4.7). Jug measures 14.5cm(5.7") x 14.5cm(5.7") x 9cm(3.5).
Sucrier measures 16cm(6.3") x 14.5cm(5.7") x 10cm(3.9). Good condition with no chips or cracks, some crazing in places and some age related loss to gilding.
