Antique Japanese Satsuma Vase, Believed to be from Meiji Period hand decorated circa 1900. The vase itself is in very good collectable condition. With no damage chips cracks or hairlines that I can see.

The vase is around 25cm tall. At some point in the past the lid has been drilled to accept a lampholder and cable inlet. Also the lid has been painted with a gilded paint which has worn off in parts, see photos The top could be regilded or the paint easily removed to reveal the plating below.
