Antique Meiji Period Satsuma Urn/Vare with Rare Motif. Beautifully hand painted and decorated with such attention to detail! The motif is of a Squirrel on one side, and a Rabbit/Hair on the opposite side, both of which are rare subjects to find in a Satsuma motif!

This vase was made sometime between 1880 and 1910, but is in excellent condition for its age! Dimensions approximately 3 inches across at rim, 8 inches from handle to handle, 20.5 inches circumference at top tapering down to 8.5 inches circumference near the bottom, 3.5 inches across at the base, and is 9.25 inches in height.
