On Satsuma are called yamago and are read with the on-yomi. The on-yomi for these characters can be either Hakusan or Hakuzan, but Hakusan is far more common e. Sake brand, eyeglass brand, shrines, lacquer artist, etc. Furthermore, this kiln continued until after WWII and English versions of its mark exist which are written'Hakusan'.

Some sources have this kiln located in Kobe and this is consistent with the styles it produced, but I could not find further supporting evidence. It is an example of 1900s-ish or later Kyo-Satsuma (from the Kyoto area) idenified by the cross in circle Shimadzu Crest.

The two characters can be read "Hakuzan/Shiroyama". The number 3O in black is probably related to productuon. This item is in the category "Antiques\Asian/Oriental Antiques\Japanese\Vases". The seller is "velikoluchanka" and is located in this country: GB. This item can be shipped worldwide.
