Beautiful PAIR of Antique Satsuma Plates with Warrior Decoration. A rather lovely matching pair of Satsuma pottery plates or dishes with finely detailed warrior decoration. Unmarked but with some age; likely Taisho period.

Beautifully decorated in great detail with three warriors inside a widely banded rim. The plates are designed in mirror images of each other; one a'left' plate and one a'right'. There is one very small chip to the rim of one of the plates but other than that they are in excellent condition with very few signs of wear and the paints are still bright. A fantastic pair of plates at a very affordable price. The plate diameter is 15.5cm rim to rim, 5cm high and weighs 1.1kg.
