A really Superb Quality Japanese Kutani Vase very much in the Satsuma style. During this period there was a great deal of crfoss design between the two famous regions of porcelain production with some of the most famous ceramic artists of the period working in both the Kutani and the Satsuma regions in similar styles. The vase features a stunning unusual and beautiful design from the gilding in relief to the delicate painting of the panels. The vase is signed to the base with "Great Japan" Kutani made and the artist I have yet to look up. Dimensions: Height: 16cm (6.5) with stand. A very high quality Kutani vase.
