As part of our Japanese collection Jacksons antique are pleased to offer. This Japanese Meiji period sleeve vase. The vase of cylindrical form with pinched neck, rolled top and bottom rim and large opening. Decorated beautifully with multiple scenes overlaying a background scene featuring a vast landscape. The Individual scenes depicting various Bijin in processional ceremonies with children and other figures.

The base signed with a four character mark for Kizan and the Shimazu Mon crest. Very Good - Excellent, minor wear to the top rim gilding only, no restoration. 31 cm High x 12.5 cm Wide. Please study the photos very carefully as the photos display the item you will receive.

The item will bare used qualities and wear due to it being handled and polished over many years. Please note this item is antique and is NOT brand new.
