Meiji period Satsuma ware dish / charger of chrysanthemum form; elaborately painted with a raised central panel of two boys offering food to a Jizo monk surrounded by a border of 21 leaf petals depicting Japanese geometric kamon pattern. Condition: Has a layer chip to one of the rim leaf border petals (see photo with finger pointing); a tiny glaze nibble to rim; some age wear to gilding - otherwise all in good condition no other chips, cracks, hairlines. Size: 26cm diameter and 4.5cm high Weight: 1082 grams unpacked.
