Japanese Satsuma hand painted miniature porcelain vase. A cobalt blue ground with gilt leaf and swirl decorations, hand painted panels to either side depicting figures of adults and children in traditional kimono.

Gilt and raised gilt accents. Japanese Satsuma mark to the underside. 2.75 inches diameter x 3.5 inches tall.
