Japanese Satsuma vintage Victorian oriental antique pair of vases
Japanese Satsuma vintage Victorian oriental antique pair of fine hand-painted vases A pair of ceramic vases with embossed polychrome ornaments depicting plant and butterfly motifs. Manufactured in Japan, late 19th century - early 20th century. Stunning pair one has a couple of small hairline cracks to the top part of the opening lip, (see photos) although these appear to have been repaired and do not go through to the other side. Please see the photos they are very minor. There are a couple of very light chips to the edges but otherwise they are in fantastic condition and the imperfections certainly did not detract from the beauty of the vases.
