Large Japanese Satsuma Vase Taisho Period 1912-26 Cobalt Gold Paintings

A large antique and beautifully presented Japanese vase from the Taisho period. If you look closely at the photos, you'll see beautiful gold-painted inserts on both the cobalt blue and the figures. Very good condition, no damage, only minor abrasions on some golden flowers, height 32 cm and diameter about 19 cm. It followed the Meiji period and represented a continuation of Japan's rise on the international scene and liberalism at home.
