Matched Pair Japanese Meiji Satsuma Bead & Moriage Square Vases Signed Unzan
A matched pair of Meiji, 4 -sided, Satsuma, bead and moriage vases. They are both signed Unzan on the base. The pattern is known as Immortals although it just shows the female on these vases. They are in good condition. They have colour wear and crackled glaze, normal for their age. A bit grubby on the inside from use and age.

There are the usual imperfections from being hand made. The glue stains on the bases suggest they were glued to stands at some point. The vase on the left in the first picture measures 8 3/4 inches (22cm) tall x 3 1/2 inches (9cm) across the widest point. The vase on the right in the first picture. Measures 8 7/8 inches (22.5cm) tall x 3 5/8 inches (9.25cm) across the widest point.

I have tried to get the colours accurate, please be aware they may look slightly different on your monito r. Please accept my sincere apologies. Hopefully it will be resolved soon :.
