Stunning Early 1900's Satsuma Tea Set (with Geisha Lithophanes) 19 Pieces

Delicate vintage Moriage Satsuma Dragon tea set in eggshell fine porcelain, each cup has a Geisha girl lithophane on the bottom. The set consists of 6 cups, saucers and side plates plus a lidded sugar bowl.

The sugar bowl lid is decorated with dragon handles. Hand painted in brown with white dots - so called moriage, gold, rust-orange, blue, green, black.

The condition is very good for age. I can see one hairline crack in a cup which is on the photos -its really fine and you can't feel it - probably due to ageing as opposed to damage. There is also possibly one very small chip to the back edge of one side plate (I'm not sure if its paint, but I can feel it).

Note: On the photos you will see the cups have some paint overlap to the rim, which looks like a chip but it isn't.
