Stunning Japanese satsuma koro pot cover stand meiji period, Signed handpainted

Stunning Japanese satsuma koro pot with cover and 3 legged stand, bearing signatures. Intricately handpainted and heavily gilded in raised enamel paint, depicting Samurai warriors to one side and geisha scene to the other, adorned with sash bows and flowers to either side.

It is approx 41cms in height. Some points to mention, the head has been reattached many years ago on the little figure on the lid, there is a slight hairline on the inner rim and under the base of the stand there is a small chip (please see last 3 photos) there is light crazing. Having said that this piece is very substantial and displays beautifully.
