This Listing is for a Vintage Japanese Satsuma Moriage Vase that is Very Detailed & Gold Gilt in a Rare Turquoise Background Color. This is a stunning Satsuma vase in a rare peacock green and blue color with a heavily hand painted and decorated surface. Two decorated panels of the vase depict three different Samari Warriors in Full Garb with flowers and fruit trees in the foreground, mountains in the background. The two secondary panels show heavily detailed geometrics with red flowers in a circle in the center and heavy gilding.

The bottom is decorated in a band of moriage circular repeating patterns. The top of the vase is decorated in small panels of geometric moriage design with more heavily detailed gilding to the rim and collar of the vase. Condition: this vase is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, damage or repairs. The surface has consistent craquelure happening mostly on the surface of the glaze. There is little to no gold wear.
