Beautiful, vintage circa second quarter on 20th century, satsuma vase - likely sometime during early Showa period. The vase measures 8.75 H. It depicts finely hand painted landscape with fine gilding featuring a bird and peonies. This vase features intricate details and fine gilding. Condition - I haven't noticed any chips of cracks.
Some wear to gold and decorations but not extensive. Use related marks and wear on the foot. Minor scabs on the foot.
Typical for satsuma wares, very fine crazing and fine faint crazing lines. It's is a truly wonderful example of Japanese satsuma ceramics of 20th century.
